Dead Island este un joc horror dezvoltat de Techland si Deep Silver, titlul urmand sa fie lansat pe 6 septembrie 2011 pentru PC, PlayStation 3 si Xbox 360.Actiunea va avea loc pe o insula de vis, numita Banoi, care se va transforma rapid in cel mai negru cosmar pentru orice turist. Cazati in statiunea imaginara Royal Palms Resort, din Papua Noua Guinee, gamerii se trezesc intr-un adevarat haos generat de o infestatie dubioasa. Oamenii sunt transformati in zombi zdrenturosi, care te ataca si vor sa te manance.Jocul va avea 4 personaje principale: Xian Mei, Logan, Sam B si Purma, care vor fi nevoiti sa puna mana pe o teava, un topor, o cheie franceza sau o tigaie, si sa plece la un atac dezlantuit impotriva creaturilor. Asa cum probabil ati ghicit, Dead Island va fi un co-op de 4 jucatori.
