FOREX MARKET
The Euro�s five day fall from 3.41 to 3.36 has stopped yesterday. The market opened at 3.3650 and made a low in the
morning at 3.3570. In the second half of the session buying orders turned the pair back up to 3.3710 the most, before the
market closed at 3.3660.
Today the market has opened at the same 3.3660 and followed the same pattern as yesterday. Selling in the opening took
the rate lower, to 3.3620 and towards noon, buyers took the Euro up to 3.3720, the maximum for the day. Currently, bids
stand at 3.37.
For most of Wednesday the EUR/USD has ranged between 1.2970 and 1.2990. Buyers were not being determined enough
to take the pair above 1.30. In US trade, the Euro had been finally bought through the 1.29-1.30 area, to a high of 1.3024.
From that point until today�s morning, the Euro has failed to climb decisively above 1.30, and as a consequence has turned
back to 1.2980. Bids now stand at 1.2986.
MONEY MARKET
Despite holding above 6% yesterday, bids for O/N RON deposits have gone down below that level. Today, average
quotations stand at 5.5/6.5%, with maximum bids of 6%.
