The company was founded after the OMV Group divested the former project division. The division became an independent company in 1997 and TECON Engineering GmbH was born as a merge with an Engineering company, successfully operating in the fields of instrumentation, automation and electrical engineering for the OMV Group. In 2006 an important step towards internationalization was taken. The ILF Group presented itself as the right partner for this next stage.
Since then the company has been playing a strategic role in providing assertive engineering consultancy services and modern solutions to upstream, refinery and petrochemistry oil and gas industry and more dedicated to satisfy the changing requirements of the oil and gas sector.
